The webbing is stitched tight and the snaps close with a satisfying click. I've been using it with my field gear and it holds the canteen securely without any wobble.
Took this out on a weekend hike with my old canteen and it fit perfectly—the webbing is thick and the snaps hold tight. No wobble when I was moving through brush, which was my main worry.
The stitching around the edges is tight and even, exactly what you want for gear that gets tossed around. I clipped it onto my web belt and it holds the canteen securely without any wobble.
