The leather feels thick and sturdy right out of the box, and once I adjusted the length, it sat perfectly on my shoulder for an afternoon of shooting. Definitely the classic look I was going for.
Took it to the range and it held my rifle snug without slipping even during a quick reload drill. The leather has that authentic GI feel, and the brass hardware looks like it came straight out of a 1940s armory. Exactly what I wanted for my M1.
The leather is thick and supple right out of the box, and the brass adjuster slides smoothly without any stiff spots. I’ve got it on my bolt gun and it sits exactly where it should, no sagging or twisting under recoil.
