The wood grip is well-fitted and has that nice, slightly oiled feel, just like you'd expect from a proper reenactment piece. It locks onto my display rifle with a satisfying click, and the overall weight feels realistic for the era.
The blade came with a decent edge right out of the box, and the wood grip feels nicely textured for a comfortable hold during events. It's heavy enough to feel authentic without being unwieldy, which was my main concern.
The scabbard has a nice solid click when you seat the blade, gives it that authentic feel. For the price, it’s a great addition to my display without breaking the bank.
