The ammo belt loops are stitched tightly enough that the dummy rounds stay firmly in place, which is perfect for my living room wall display. I've handled original surplus before, and this repro's steel clips have a satisfying heft without feeling fragile.
Picked this up for a display piece alongside my MG34 and the rivets along the belt look just like the wartime photos I've seen. It feeds smoothly through the action when I test-fit it, no kinking or snagging.
I’ve been running this belt in my MG42 display, and the canvas weave feels just like wartime photos I’ve seen. It feeds the dummy rounds smoothly without snagging, which really sells the look at reenactments.
