I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this piece—it feels solid in hand, not flimsy like some other reproductions I’ve seen. The finish on the silver frame has a nice, subdued sheen that looks authentic for a display piece.
The pin on the back is sturdy and holds tight, so it sits nicely on a jacket lapel. The detail in the oak leaves and the cross itself looks sharp up close, exactly what I wanted for my collection.
The hinge on this reproduction snaps shut with a satisfyingly solid click, just like the originals I’ve handled. It’s got a nice weight to it too, not flimsy at all for a display piece.
