Postwar Parts M1 Helmet

Pulled the trigger on the liner-and-shell combo and was pleasantly surprised by how snug the fit is right out of the box—no wobble at all. The steel feels like it could take a few knocks, and the classic profile looks just right on a mannequin.

The steel feels perfectly balanced, not too heavy on the head. I opted for the standard configuration and the classic silhouette looks exactly right for my display.

The liner sits snug and the chinstrap buckle feels solid—exactly what I wanted for my WWII display. It's noticeably lighter than my old steel pot, which makes wearing it for photos much more comfortable.
