The Y-harness sits flat across my shoulders even with a heavy load, and the stitching on the main straps looks like it’ll outlast my gear. Took it to a weekend reenactment and it held up perfectly through hours of marching.

The leather is stiff at first but breaks in beautifully after a couple of wears, and the stitching feels rock-solid under a loaded belt kit. I've used these for two reenactment events already and they hold the weight without slipping.
