The chain and front plate have a nice weight to them, solid for a reproduction piece. It sits flat against the chest with the hook secure, so it’ll hold up during a full weekend of reenactment. Exactly the look I was after for my impression.

The chain hangs a bit lighter than I expected, but the engraved eagle on the front plate is crisp and clean for a reproduction. It fits the reenactment kit well, though I wish the finish had a slight aged patina straight out of the box.
